NUTCRACKER TRADITION FELT PANEL **KIT**

This Kit has all you need to complete the adorable play characters and bag from the Nutcracker Tradition by Jennifer Long of Sew A Story for Riley Blake Designs.

Included is

• The felt panel featuring the pieces for Nutcracker-themed characters with a playmat/bag.

• 2 packages of Heat n Bond craft extra firm

• 2 yards of Fusible fleece (used in place of craft felt)

• 5 jars of Sparkle Paste in Red, Green, Gold, Silver and Iridescent

Sparkle Paste by Jennifer Long is a mess-free, heat-activated adhesive and glitter medium created by designer Jennifer Long in collaboration with Therm O Web . It adds radiant dimension and shimmer to quilts, garments, felt panels, and home decor without shedding loose glitter everywhere.

How to Apply Sparkle Paste

1. Apply: Use a firm paintbrush for freehand painting or a small palette knife, scraper, or credit card to press the paste through stencils. You can apply it directly onto fabric or even over existing stitching. Use small paintbrushes/ sponges or cotton swabs for small touches.

2. Dry: Let the paste dry completely for about 1 hour until it no longer feels wet or transfers to your hands.

3. Heat Set: Cover the dried design with a press cloth (such as a piece of muslin or pressing paper) to protect your iron. Press with an iron on a high / cotton setting for about 60 seconds.

4. Cure & Wash: Allow the project to cure for 24 hours for maximum wash durability, then wash on a gentle cycle as needed.

Felt Panel size is 36 1/2" x 69 1/2". Cut the panel apart and follow the insructions to complete the playhouse/bag and the characters.
